About the OpportunityWe are currently seeking experienced and reliable Kitchen Hand to join our team on a casual basis, reporting to the Catering Manager.
In this role, you will play an important part in delivering quality meal services to our residents while maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with meal preparation, plating, and service to residentsPrepare vegetables and support general food preparation tasksPack and unpack food delivery boxesEnsure kitchen areas are tidy, safe, and compliant with hygiene standardsStore and organise kitchen supplies as requiredDeliver food boxes across the site using a golf buggySupport the team with general kitchen duties as neededAbout YouYou are a team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in supporting aged care residents.Current Food Safety Handling CertificateSound knowledge of food hygiene and protected handling practicesPrevious experience in food preparation (aged care experience highly regarded)Understanding of kitchen processes, equipment, and standardsExcellent attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work in a teamProfessional presentation and a willing,
