BEACH CLUB RESORT MOOLOOLABA - Mooloolaba QLDJoin the dynamic team at BEACH CLUB RESORT MOOLOOLABA as a casual Housekeeper.
In this varied and exciting role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience throughout their stay.HOUSEKEEPERJob PurposeTo provide high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort in guest rooms and hotel public areas, ensuring an excellent guest experience and maintaining the hotel's reputation.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Room CleaningClean and tidy guest rooms according to hotel standards.Make beds, change linens, and replace towels etc.Dust, vacuum, and mop floors.Clean bathrooms - sanitize toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and tiles.Replenish amenities (toiletries, coffee/tea supplies, stationery, etc.).
Check that all lights, appliances, and furniture are in valuable working order.Report any maintenance issues or missing items to the supervisor.Public Area CleaningMaintain cleanliness in hallways, lobbies, elevators, and stairways.Clean and polish furniture, glass doors, and decorative fixtures.Laundry and Linen DutiesSort, collect, and deliver linens to the laundry area.Ensure proper stock of clean towels, sheets, and blankets.Handle laundry with care and report any damaged items.Supplies and InventoryRestock housekeeping trolleys with supplies before each shift.Report low inventory or equipment issues to the supervisor.Guest InteractionGreet guests politely when encountered.Respond promptly to guest requests (e.g., extra towels, pillows, or cleaning).
Respect guest privacy and follow "Do Not Disturb" signs and protocols.Health, Safety,



and StandardsFollow hotel safety and hygiene policies.Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.Adhere to lost and found procedures for any guest belongings.Skills and AttributesStrong attention to detailGood time management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting throughout shiftsProfessional appearance and courteous demeanorAbility to login to our software system & use this programQualificationsHigh school diploma (preferred but not required)Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience (especially in hotels) is an advantageTraining provided in hotel cleaning standards and safety proceduresTypical Working HoursRotating shifts, including weekends and holidaysGeneral hours 9am - 2pmWhat we offerAt BEACH CLUB RESORT MOOLOOLABA, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
Monthly shifts would consist of weekly Monday 9am to 4pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am - 2pm, fortnightly Sundays 9am - 12pm and one Saturday per month 9am to 4pm.
