We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Race Mechanic to join our team at Encore Autosport in Capalaba, Queensland.
As a full time Race Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and preparing our customer race cars in the workshop, and supporting them at competition events and track days.
Our team includes the largest fleet of Innovation Race Cars, TA2/Trans Am, Toyota 86 and Radicals amongst other high end racecars and motorsport based projects.What you'll be doingPerforming thorough preparation, maintenance and repairs on a variety of race carsTravelling to events to provide track support.Leading our extensive team of contractors at eventsPreparing spare parts and equipment for competition events.Performing technical adjustments in collaboration with our engineering and coaching team.Maintaining detailed records of all work performed on vehiclesEnsuring the workshop and equipment are well-organised and well-maintainedProviding exceptional customer service to our racing clientsWhat we're looking forExtensive experience as a Race Mechanic or similar role in the automotive industryStrong technical knowledge and hands-on skills in preparing race cars.Familiarity with a wide range of automotive and motorsport tools and equipmentAbility to work under pressure and adhere to strict timelines and safety protocolsExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanshipExcellent communication and teamwork skillsWhat we offerAt Encore Autosport, we are dedicated to creating a dynamic and supportive work environment for our employees.
