Customer Service & Operations CoordinatorAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking a reliable, organised and customer-focused Customer Service & E-commerce Operations Coordinator to support two growing Australian interior and building-material brands specialising in flooring, wall cladding and architectural products.This is a varied, hands-on position combines:Customer serviceInbound sales and quotationsSales administrationOrder processingDelivery and logistics coordinationSample managementGeneral e-commerce operationsAll customer enquiries are inbound, so there is no cold calling.Comprehensive product and systems training will be provided.
Previous building-material experience is helpful but not essential.The position is based at our Bankstown showroom / warehouse and is available ona full-time basis (5, 5.5 or 6 days per week)About the RoleYou will be one of the main points of contact for customers, helping them select suitable products, preparing quotations, processing orders and coordinating deliveries.You will work across customer service, sales support and operations to ensure every customer receives accurate, responsive and professional service from their initial enquiry through to delivery.Your responsibilities will include:Responding to customer enquiries by phone and emailUnderstanding customer requirements and recommending suitable productsPreparing quotations and following up inbound enquiriesProcessing and monitoring customer orders through Shopify and internal systemsBooking freight and coordinating deliveries with drivers and transport providersOrganising product samples and arranging their dispatchProviding general administrative and operational support to the teamAbout YouThis position would suit someone with experience in customer service, sales support, administration, online retail or order processing.It may also suit someone with a renovation, interior design, architecture, construction or business-related course.This role will suit someone with:Strong written and spoken EnglishA friendly, patient and professional communication styleExcellent attention to detailGood organisation and time-management skillsConfidence speaking with customers by phone and emailThe ability to manage multiple enquiries and orders accuratelyConfidence using computers, email and general office softwareThe ability to learn Shopify, inventory and customer-management systemsA proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasksThe ability to safely lift and pack product samples weighing up to 10kgExperience with Shopify, CRM software, inventory systems, flooring, interior products, construction or building materials will be beneficial but is not required.What We Offer$****** - $****** Base + Monthly Bonus Plan (post-probation / training) plus 12% superannuationLong-term role - we provide permanent, secure employment with a growing businessFull product and systems trainingA friendly, supportive and close-knit teamGenuine long-term career development opportunitiesFree on-site parkingWhy Join Us?
