Thomas Borthwick and Sons are looking for an experienced supervisor for our night cleaning operations at our Bakers Creek Plant.




The supervisor will assume a wide range of responsibilities and accountabilities as a pivotal member of our management team.The position reports directly to the Production Manager of Facility and is directly responsible for overseeing employees of the Night Cleaning Team.What You'll DoLead by exampleSupervise, coach and support your team.Maintain exceptional quality standards.Drive safety and WHS compliance.
.Drive a positive, accountable team culture.Key Responsibilitiesinclude but not limited to:Cleaning of floors, walls, work surfaces and production line equipmentEnsuring correct cleaning chemicals are usedWorking in a manner that promotes protected working practices for yourself and your colleaguesEnsuring that all PPE is worn and used at all timesLiaising with Quality Assurance team and Production ManagerAbout YouAvailability to work afternoon shift; Monday to Friday; 2pm to 10pmAvailability to work some weekends as neededExperience within a manufacturing or food processing environment advantageousAbility to work with raw meat, specifically beef productsGood attention to detailPrevious leadership or supervisory experiencePositive "Can do" attitudeLeads with integrity and earns respect.Communicates well with your team.Why work for Thomas Borthwick and SonsLong term and stable employment with a company that leads the way in the beef production industryAll work clothing, equipment and PPE provided
