Responsibilities
Pick and pack steel orders, operating the band saw and gantry crane after training
Load and unload trucks using an overhead gantry crane
Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Maintain a strong focus on safety in all tasks
Work effectively in a rapid-paced environment to meet deadlines
Assist with other duties as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
Previous experience with over-head gantry cranes
Safety conscious and aware of best practices in a warehouse setting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Day-to-Day
Ability to commit to Mon-Fri 10:00am-6:00pm shifts
Collaborate with other team members to fulfill customer orders and meet delivery deadlines
Maintain a neat and organized work area
Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
Adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed
Maintain a positive and proactive attitude to contribute to a productive work environment
