Shifts operate 24/7, including active night shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist participants with personal care and daily living tasksSupport participants to attend appointments and access the communityEncourage skill development, independence,
and community participationImplement individualised support and care plansRespond appropriately to challenging behaviours (where applicable)Maintain accurate shift notes, progress notes, and incident documentationFollow NDIS Practice Standards, ADC policies, and proceduresWork collaboratively with healthcare professionals and Behaviour Support PractitionersWhat You'll Be DoingAssisting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeepingSupporting participants in SIL and supported accommodation environments, including overnight and active night shiftsProviding companionship and supporting recreational, social, and goal-based activitiesAdvocating for participant needs to ensure holistic and person-centred careAccurately documenting client progress, incidents, and support deliveryAbout YouCertificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent (preferred) but not essentialExperience working with people with disability (desirable), particularly psychosocial disability or complex needsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, patient, and empathetic approachFlexible, resilient, and adaptableAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience assisting clients with medicationWhat We OfferAt Absolute Disability Care (ADC), we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work workplace.
