We are seeking an experienced, approachable and proactive People & Culture Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.The RoleBased at our Support Office in Cleveland, this Senior Leadership role is crucial in shaping people, process and performance across our 11 IGA stores and Support Office.
This is a highly visible role requiring the successful candidate to work both in the office and with our operational teams across the stores.
This role is truly generalist, and you'll be trusted to deliver across the full employee lifecycle whilst carving out the strategy, driving continuous improvement and ensuring safety and compliance.Your key responsibilitiesOwnership of end-to-end recruitment and employee lifecycle activities, from onboarding and training through to performance management and offboardingSupport Store Managers and other senior leaders with employee relations, advice, coaching, process and policyManage employee relations matters including conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and performance improvement plansWrite and interpret policies across the HR function with support via the Master Grocers Association (MGA)Provide expert guidance on General Retail Industry Award, workplace legislation, and Fair Work matters to ensure compliant and consistent practicesManagement of time and attendance system and internal HR systems with a process improvement mindsetManage WorkCover claims, communication, support and return to work strategies and plansMonitor and report on workplace health and safety and provide policy,
