We are recruiting for a full time Electrician capable of working rotating Monday – Friday shifts and dedicated to completing electrical repairs and maintenance to applicable standards.
As an Electrician, you will assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, proactively identify potential plant improvements, and oversee the development of preventative maintenance systems to maximize productivity.Due to the lack of public transportation, a valid driver's license and personal transportation are required.Understanding of SCADA Systems.Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and supervisors.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Strong emphasis on planned preventative maintenance systems.Able to perform tasks in a safe and timely manner.Capable of task scheduling for timely repairs and maintenanceMinimum 1 year of experience as a tradesman.QLD electrical work license.Experience in an industrial maintenance environment.Prior experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.Experience in manufacturing/continuous operation, and preferably in the food manufacturing industry.Stable employment with a company that is a leader in the food production industryAll tools required for the role, including uniform and PPE, will be suppliedDiscounted meat through our onsite butcher shopEmployee Assistance ProgramWe support your development by providing structured training and coaching.
