A weekend sleepover block pays around $765.At Staff on Standby, we provide safe, supportive care for young people in the child safety and disability systems.
We are growing our casual team across three regions and we have immediate starts available.We are upfront about pay, because you should not have to guess what a shift is worth.What You Will EarnAll rates are SCHADS Award Level 2.1 casual, current from 1 July ****, and already include the 25% casual loading.Monday to Friday: from $***** per hourAfternoon shift: from $***** per hourNight shift: from $***** per hourSaturday: from $***** per hourSunday: from $***** per hourPublic holiday: from $***** per hourSleepover: $***** per night, paid on top of your hoursPlus 12% superA real example: Saturday 2:00pm to 10:30pm, sleepover, then 6:30am to 8:30am Sunday pays approximately $765 gross for the one booking.Duties You Will PerformCreate a safe, stable and supportive home environmentBuild positive, trusting relationships that empower healing and growthSupport young people's access to education, healthcare and life skillsEncourage resilience,

To succeed you will need:A strong understanding of trauma informed care and the child protection systemExcellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skillsResilience to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic roleWhat You Must HaveBlue Card (Working with Children Check)National Police Check (within last 6 months)Current First Aid & CPRQLD Driver's Licence (Open preferred)Flexibility for rotating rosters (nights, weekends, public holidays)Great If You Have It, But We Can Help You Get ThereCertificate IV in Youth/Community Services (or near completion)LCS (Licensed Care Service check), ideally within the past 12 monthsHope & Healing CertificationWhy Join SOS?
