Security Officer – Victoria Point Shopping Centre (Part-Time)
We are seeking professional and customer-focused Part-Time Retail Security Officers to join our team at Victoria Point Shopping Centre, a busy and community-focused retail destination.
This is an excellent prospect to secure consistent part-time hours within a rapid-paced retail environment while building your career with one of Australia's leading security providers.
Available Part-Time Roster
Thursday: 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Friday: 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Saturday: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
About the Role
As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for retailers, customers, and centre management.
You will provide exceptional customer service while responding professionally to incidents and supporting the day-to-day security operations of the centre.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver friendly and professional customer service.
Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft and anti-social behaviour.
Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the shopping centre.
Monitor CCTV and respond to suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and medical situations.
Provide First Aid and CPR when required.
Monitor access to restricted areas, including loading docks.
Resolve conflict using effective communication and de-escalation techniques.
Complete accurate incident reports and security documentation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:




Current Queensland Security Licence with Crowd Control function.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A professional presentation and strong personal integrity.
Availability to work the advertised roster.
A reliable, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
Previous retail or customer-facing security experience (preferred).
