What You'll Be Doing – A Day in the LifeThis is a field-based role:Start your day by checking your scheduleHead out to site in your fully equipped work vehiclePerform field metering activities including Installing/replacing meters, installing/replacing data loggers and completing metering investigationsAccurately record meter specifications and site data using a mobile appLog each completed job on our mobile app before moving to the nextKey Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:Water Meter replacement & assembly maintenance.Follow correct replacement procedures.Customer Service – face to face and phonePerform tasks within budgets and time framesCommunicate regularly with office support teamMaintain accurate and timely digital job installation recordsEnsure that all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with state and company OH&S; policies and procedures.Work independently day to day and to a scheduleAbout YouWe are looking for reliable and dedicated individuals to help us on our ongoing project.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:Strong mechanical aptitude – proficient with hand tools.A positive attitude, strong work ethic with a willingness to learnAn aptitude for problem solvingAttention to detail – Data Accuracy is a MUST!
Reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting deadlinesExcellent communication and customer service skillsThe ability to work under supervision both individually and occasionally in a team setting.Able to do a lot of bending, squatting and walking (moderate degree of physical fitness)Ability to work in most weather conditions.Flexible and comfortable with daily travelA current driver's licenceBlue card & Police CheckWhat's On OfferNPS is proud of our culture and values.
