We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivatedAssistant StoreManagerto join ourTownsville Storein aPermanent Full Time position.
The Townsville opening hours are Monday to Friday (NO nights)
As the Assistant Store Manager you will be involved in:
Customer service and processing sales
Tinting and mixing of paint
You will perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods
Use a forklift, pallet jacks , walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling
Support Store Manager with admin related tasks and other dutiesas required
In order to be considered you will have:




3-5 years previous experience processing inbound and outbound stock
Proven experience in high volume inventory control
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Sound computer skills: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
Great time management and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
We are looking for a team player looking to develop their retail career into a leadership role in a company that offers development and growth to its employees.
Knowledge of the paint industry couldn't hurt either, however,being comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment is a must.
