We also provide home care services to up to **** elderly clients across the Sydney Metro Region, enabling them to remain in their own homes for longer.
Our focus is on helping the elderly to be as active and able as they can be, regardless of their underlying health conditions.
As a not-for profit we can offer salary packaging, staff well-being initiatives and exciting restorative care programs for our clients.The RoleWe are looking for Personal Care Workers who are able adaptable and have the ability to work AM shifts and PM shifts, and some Night Shifts at our Rooty Hill facility.Key Responsibilities:Provide the highest quality of resident care and support to elderly people with Dementia as per individual care plansEncouraging independence,



upholding customers dignity, and supporting their right of choice.Assist with daily living according to assessed needs, toileting, showering, dressing, feeding, personal hygiene, and moreEnsuring meals are served to residents at the appropriate time and temperatureAssisting with resident mobility, both personal and mechanicalIdentifying and reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate personDemonstrated experience working in a Residential Aged Care or similar environment for at least 12 monthsDemonstrated understanding of Dementia - direct experience of care delivery preferredResilient, quick thinking, and demonstrated problem-solving abilityStrong focus on honesty, integrity, and working independentlyStrong focus on resident wellbeing and able to adapt your work practices to a range of individual needsPlease note the successful applicant must be willing to undergo a Medical Assessment, Criminal History Check, Working Rights Check and have medical evidence of at least one (1) Covid vaccination documented.
