As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our workshop operations, inspire our production team, and ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the quality our clients expect.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all workshop production activities from planning through to completion.
You will coordinate resources, manage production schedules, supervise workshop staff, and ensure projects are manufactured efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.




This is a hands-on leadership role that requires excellent organisational skills, strong technical knowledge of joinery manufacturing, and the ability to motivate a skilled team in a quick-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will have:
Proven experience in a Production Manager, Workshop Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or Senior Leading Hand role within the carpentry, cabinet making, or joinery industry.
Strong understanding of custom joinery manufacturing processes and workshop operations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to motivate, coach, and develop workshop staff.
Strong organisational, planning, and time management abilities.
Experience managing multiple projects and competing deadlines.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
Robust problem-solving and decision-making skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with production planning or ERP software is highly regarded.
Solid understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
