Are you a patient, warm, and experienced support worker looking for consistent, meaningful casual hours?
We have a wonderful prospect for a dedicated support worker to join our small team across a number of participants that range in the Brisbane and Moreton Bay region.
This role offers up to 25 hours per week across a mix of morning and afternoon shifts, covering both in-home support and community access, with consistent days and times that you can genuinely plan your life around.About the roleYou'll be working with a number of participants in their homes and out in the community, supporting them with daily routines, personal care, social engagement, and community participation.
The focus is on building genuine, trusting relationships — consistency and familiarity matter deeply to our participants and their families.This role suits you if you:Experience working with Children is highly regardedHave experience supporting older adults, particularly those living with Alzheimer's or dementiaUnderstand the importance of routine and consistency for someone with memory impairmentAre calm, adaptable,
and able to meet a participant where they are — even when each day looks a little differentAre looking for steady casual hours across a small group of participants — not a fulltime position or SIL roleGenuinely enjoy building long-term relationships with participants and their familiesWhat the work involvesSupporting daily living routines in the homeAssisting with personal care and hygiene with dignity and respectAccompanying the participant into the community for social activities, appointments, and outingsProviding companionship and meaningful engagementCommunicating clearly and regularly with the participant's family and the Supportr teamCompleting accurate shift notes and documentationYou must hold before starting:NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)Blue Card (Working with Children)First Aid renewed within the last 3 years and CPR within 12 monthsNDIS Worker Orientation ModuleCurrent driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle (essential)Why Supportr?
