Grow With Us.At My Hospital Foundation, we work every day to improve healthcare outcomes for our community.
We fund critical equipment, services and initiatives that go beyond government funding and make a real difference to patients, families and frontline healthcare workers.We are seeking a Junior Foundation Officer who is enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to learn how a not-for-profit organisation operates from the ground up.This is an entry-level role suited to someone early in their career who wants exposure to fundraising, events, stakeholder engagement, administration and community impact – with the chance to grow and take on additional responsibility over time.About the RolePart time, 32 hours per week, reporting to the Managing Executive Officer and working closely with the Foundation Officer and Managing Executive Officer, this role provides hands‐on operational support across the Foundation.You will be a team player who is happy to pitch in where needed, learn by doing, and support a wide range of activities that keep the Foundation running smoothly.Key responsibilities include:Providing administrative and operational support to the Foundation teamSupporting the planning and delivery of fundraising and community eventsAssisting with social media content and posts on behalf of the FoundationParticipating in Doctors Runs,
supporting the safe transport of critical doctors to and from the hospital and airportSupporting day‐to‐day Foundation activities as directed by senior team membersAssisting with stakeholder engagement and community activitiesContributing ideas and energy to Foundation initiatives and projectsAbout YouThis role is ideal for a go‐getter who wants to learn, grow and contribute meaningfully.You will bring:A positive attitude and strong work ethicWillingness to learn and take directionA team‐first mindset and flexibilityConfidence using social media platforms in a professional contextGood communication and organisational skillsReliability and professionalism, particularly when representing the FoundationA genuine interest in community, health, and the not‐for‐profit sectorPrevious experience is not essential – attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are key.Pre‐Employment RequirementsAppointment is subject to:A satisfactory National Police Record CheckProof of identity and legal right to work in AustraliaWhy Join Us?
