APG Workforce are currently seeking an experienced Works Assistant (PQR) to join our Wagga Bridge Team based in Wagga Wagga.Location: Wagga WaggaStart Date: ASAPDuration: Until 24/12/2026Pay Rate: $***** per hour + superHours: 8.5 hours per day (76 hours per fortnight)Work Pattern: 9-day fortnightAbout the Role:In this role, you will work under limited supervision either independently or as part of a team, carrying out a wide range of advanced non-trade tasks.
You will be responsible for completing work to quality standards while assisting in resolving routine issues using your experience and knowledge.Key Responsibilities:Perform a variety of advanced labouring and operational tasks to required standardsAssist in resolving routine worksite issues and escalate complex problems when requiredContribute to team meetings and continuous improvement initiativesProvide guidance and on-the-job training to team membersCommunicate effectively with team members, contractors, and the publicApply and maintain strong knowledge of WHS policies, procedures,



and legislationEnsure all work meets quality and compliance standardsUndertake general labouring duties as requiredWork safely in and around live traffic environmentsRequirements:White Card (Construction Industry Induction)Current WOF ticket or willingness to obtainTraffic Control (TC) ticket or willingness to obtain within required timeframeValid C Class Driver's Licence or higherAbility to work both independently and within a teamStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work in close proximity to trafficWillingness to travel and work outside regular hours when requiredSound computer skillsKnowledge and understanding of bridge works (highly regarded)Why Join APG Workforce?
