Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading independent Australian law firm to recruit an Associate to join its highly regarded Real Estate team in Sydney.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work on large-scale real estate transactions for leading institutional investors, real estate funds, developers and multinational corporations.
You will gain exposure to sophisticated, cross-jurisdictional transactions across a diverse range of asset classes, while working within a collaborative and high-performing national team.
The Role
You will advise on a broad range of real estate matters, including:Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
Large-scale property and capital transactions
Due diligence investigations and reporting
Drafting and negotiating contracts for sale, leases and agreements for leasePEXA settlements and transaction management
Strategic advice on complex real estate transactions
Advising clients across office, industrial, logistics, retail, agribusiness, data centres and other major asset classes
The role offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to work on some of Australia's most complex real estate transactions.
About You
About YouYou will have:2+ years' post-admission experience in Real Estate law gained within private practice
Strong experience in property transactions and due diligence
Experience drafting and negotiating commercial property documents
Familiarity with PEXA, Revenue NSW and NSW Land Registry ServicesStrong commercial judgement and excellent stakeholder management skillsA cooperative approach and genuine interest in building a long-term career in commercial real estate
