This is a 12 month contract position that offers a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with customer-facing administrative support and opportunity to continue into a permanent position after contract ends.
You will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive both exceptional treatment and seamless service from the moment they arrive.
This position involves balancing dermal and beauty therapy treatments with receptionist duties, making you an essential part of our front-of-house and treatment delivery operations.Key responsibilitiesTreatment DeliveryProvide professional dermal and beauty therapy treatments including advanced laser treatments for pigmentation, vascular lesion removal, tattoo removal, resurfasing laser rejuvenation, facials, skin analysis, chemical peels, laser hair removal,



electrolysis hair removal and other aesthetic procedures as per client requirementsMaintain accurate treatment records and document client progress and outcomesDeliver personalised aftercare advice and recommendations to clientsEnsure all treatment areas are maintained to the highest hygiene and safety standardsReception and Administrative SupportManage client check-ins, appointment scheduling and booking confirmationsProvide warm, professional and knowledgeable reception support to clients upon arrivalAnswer telephone enquiries and respond to client communications promptly and professionallyMaintain client records and ensure confidentiality of personal informationProcess payments and manage basic administrative tasks as requiredOrder and maintain stock levels in the clinicEnsure the clinic runs on time and assist other practitioners with treatment/cleaning and organisationCreate and post marketing material for emails and social media platformsGeneral ResponsibilitiesMaintain a professional appearance and uphold the standards of The Aesthetic Laser CentreSupport the team in creating a welcoming and professional clinic environmentAdhere to all health,



safety and professional regulatory requirementsWhat we're looking forQualifications and ExperienceCurrent recognised qualification in Dermal Therapy or Beauty Therapy from an accredited providerProven experience working as a beauty or dermal therapist in a professional clinic settingIdeally hold a current radiation laser license for Tasmania but this is not essential for the right candidateCurrent First Aid and CPR certification (Ideal but not required)Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration or willingness to obtain itStrong clinical knowledge of skin types, conditions and appropriate treatment protocolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clientsProfessional presentation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safetyAbility to manage time effectively and balance multiple responsibilities across treatment and reception dutiesProficiency with appointment booking systems and basic computer skillsAttention to detail and strong organisational abilitiesExperience working in an aesthetic or laser clinic environmentKnowledge of laser safety and aesthetic treatmentsExperience using clinic management softwareExisting client base or proven ability to build client relationshipsWhat we offerWe provide a supportive and professional working environment where your clinical skills and customer service abilities are valued.
