Health, Safety, Enviroment and Quality (HSEQ) CoordinatorDue to continued growth across the Hunter Valley, KCE Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated HSEQ Coordinator to join our team, based in the Singleton / Muswellbrook region.This role will support a diverse portfolio of mining, government and development projects, working closely with site teams to strengthen and sustain a high‐performing HSEQ culture across our operations.The successful applicant will be a strong communicator and coach, capable of building trusted relationships with supervisors, project teams and management, while supporting practical and effective HSEQ outcomes on site.About the roleIn this role, you will provide HSEQ support across allocated projects, assisting in the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of KCE's HSEQ Management System.
You will work closely with operational and management personnel, and collaborate with the HSEQ Manager to ensure legislative compliance, system effectiveness and continual improvement across the business.To be successful in this role, you will have:A minimum Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety3+ years' experience in a HSEQ role within the civil construction, mining and/or infrastructure sectorsStrong knowledge and understanding of WHS and Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice and StandardsDemonstrated skills in hazard identification, risk management and incident investigationProven ability to engage, coach and influence at all levels of the organisationExperience working with ISO‐aligned HSEQ Management Systems, including implementation, monitoring and auditingStrong written,



computer and reporting skillsA current driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites in Singleton and Muswellbrook as requiredCertificate IV Training and AssessmentQualifications in auditing and/or incident investigationReturn to Work Coordinator qualificationsExperience working on government‐funded projects and within operational mining environmentsKey Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Support the implementation, maintenance and review of the HSEQ Management SystemConduct regular site inspections, audits and assessments to monitor HSEQ performance and identify opportunities for improvementProvide practical HSEQ leadership, guidance and support to Project Managers, Supervisors and EngineersCoach and train site personnel in risk management processes, including the effective use of HSEQ documentationParticipate in the review of site risks and ensure appropriate controls are identified and implementedAssist with the preparation and review of Secure Work Method Statements and task‐based risk assessmentsMonitor and support compliance with legislative, client and system requirementsAssist with the management and investigation of incidents, near misses and non‐conformancesEnsure accurate HSEQ records, registers and reports are maintained across allocated projectsAssist with site inductions, onboarding and training coordination as requiredSupport contractor management in accordance with KCE's HSEQ requirementsParticipate in workers compensation, rehabilitation and return‐to‐work processes where requiredBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
