Operating in a GMP-regulated environment, they are dedicated to innovation, quality, and delivering trusted healthcare solutions to customers across Australia and international marketJob SummaryThe Quality Control (QC) Technician is responsible for ensuring raw materials and packaging materials meet company quality standards before release for production.
This role performs laboratory testing, reviews supplier documentation, maintains quality records and specifications, and supports supplier qualification and material disposition activities to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.Why Join Us?
Join a well-established and respected Australian manufacturer.Work in a collaborative and supportive team environment.Gain hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory.Participate in company BBQ days and team events.ResponsibilitiesReview supplier Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) against internal specifications to determine material compliance.Release raw materials and packaging materials for production in accordance with approved procedures.Perform purity and potency adjustments in FormWeigh (Dispensing Formulation System) where required.Update material release information in SAP, LIMS, FormWeigh, and other relevant quality systems.Print and apply approved labels to released raw materials and packaging materials.Maintain the raw material retention program, including inventory, storage, documentation,



and disposal of retained samples.Support supplier qualification activities by reviewing raw material documentation and verifying packaging artwork, including labels, cartons, leaflets, and pre-printed tubeMaintain and update raw material and packaging material specifications in line with regulatory, pharmacopeial, and supplier changes.Support change control activities related to material specifications.Assist with the investigation and processing of rejected or non-conforming raw materials and packaging materials, including updating system status and applying reject labels.Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and company procedures.Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Production, Warehouse, and Procurement teams to ensure quality and supply requirements are met.QualificationsEssentialTertiary qualification in Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.Experience working in either the human health or animal health industry.Experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably within a Quality Control environment.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and quality management systems.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.Good organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.DesirableExperience using laboratory and quality systems such as SAP, LIMS, FormWeigh, or similar electronic systems.Experience reviewing Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) and working with raw material or packaging material specifications.Experience within a pharmaceutical, veterinary, or regulated manufacturing setting.
