Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:Fabricate structural steel as directedImplement quality assurance procedures and requirementsInspect machines and equipment prior to useRun machines and equipment as directedBeing able to read and analyse blueprints and drawingsHave the ability to weld vertically, horizontally and overheadBe able to weld various metals using various techniquesCut, roll, shape, bend, mould, spin, heat or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assembliesHeat treat metal parts and componentsSet up and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipmentAssemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding,



bolting or rivetingFinish products by cleaning, polishing, filing or bathing them in acid solutions, or by applying protective or decorative coatingsSkills & AbilitiesCertificate III in Engineering (Welding Fabrication) or equivalent qualificationMinimum of three years' experience in this role or similarAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamGood communication skillsUnderstanding of secure work instructionsSalary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with skills and experience Full-time Positions available Application opens on 30th of July **** and closes on 30th of August ****.
