You will be actively involved in day-to-day plant maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement across the processing circuit.This role will be offered on a Max Term Full Time Contractand will see you work a 7/7 Roster Days/Nights.
This role will be DIDO/BIBO from the Townsville Region.
Accommodation and Meals are supplied whilst on site.Duties will include but not be limited to:-Perform planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment within the gold processing facilityMaintain and repair equipment including pumps, conveyors, crushers, screens, agitators, gearboxes, and processing plant componentsDiagnose faults and mechanical issues to minimise downtime and ensure safe,



reliable plant operationComplete inspections and condition monitoring of plant equipment in accordance with site maintenance schedulesWork closely with the operations team to optimise plant availability and performanceCarry out shutdown maintenance activities, including component replacements, rebuilds and plant upgradesEnsure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with site safety standards, procedures and statutory requirementsMaintain accurate maintenance records, reports and work orders within the site maintenance management systemIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement in plant reliability, safety and efficiencyMaintain a high standard of housekeeping across the processing plant and work areasTo be successful in this role, you will have:-Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner or equivalent mechanical tradeProven experience working within a gold processing plant or mineral processing environmentStrong experience maintaining fixed plant equipment such as pumps, conveyors, crushers, screens, mills, agitators and gearboxesCurrent Mining, Minerals and Quarries Medical – desirableStrong safety mindset with a commitment to following procedures and site standards.Right to Work in Australia – EssentialPlease note, that as apart of our recruitment process you will be required to complete a police clearance, Functional Capacity Evaluation and drug and alcohol screen.We value diversity and the advantages it brings to achieving our objectives, enhancing our reputation, and attracting, engaging, and retaining talented people.
