Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson / Yardsman to join our Yeppoon branch on a full-time basis.

About the Role
As a Storeperson / Yardsman at Greensteel, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the yard and warehouse, ensuring steel products are handled, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently.
This is a hand-on role involving forklift operation, loading and unloading trucks, order picking, and maintaining a clean and organised yard environment.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload steel products safely and efficiently
Pick, prepare, and check customer orders for dispatch
Operate forklifts and yard equipment safely




Assist with receiving and storing stock
Maintain a clean, protected, and organised yard and warehouse
Conduct basic equipment checks and report faults or hazards
Assist customers and drivers in the yard as required
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational targets
What We're Looking For
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Safety-focused with attention to detail
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Required Qualifications
Current Forklift (LF) Licence
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
Experience in warehousing, steel, manufacturing, or construction industries preferred but not essential
