We are currently seeking experienced and capable
Catering Team Members
to join our Point Vernon Aged Care Residence team in a Part-time role.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate commitment to a high standard of work, whilst ensuring consideration and person-centred care is always provided to our Residents.
Assist in the preparation of meals according to set menus and dietary requirements.
Ensure that food is plated and served at the appropriate temperature and consistency.
Plate meals accurately and aesthetically for residents, taking into consideration any specific dietary restrictions or preferences.
Serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring their individual needs are met.
Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas before and after use.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
Dispose of food waste and garbage properly and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.
Adhere to protected food handling practices and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas.




Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP standards, and maintain accurate records related to food preparation, storage, and serving.
Strong customer service mindset with empathy for the elderly.
Knowledge and adherence to Work Health and Safety guidelines.
Experience as a cook would be beneficial.
