Elysian Cartel is looking for a dependable, responsible and creatively minded artist to join our Greenslopes salon.This position would suit someone who takes pride in their work, values consistency and wants to establish themselves within a respected salon- without the pressure of running their own business.Your regular hoursThis is a permanent part-time position of 18 hours per week:Tuesday: 3:00 pm-8:00 pmThursday: 3:00 pm-8:00 pmSaturday: 8:00 am-4:00 pmThese are the required ongoing hours, so applicants must be consistently available for all three shifts.About the roleYou will specialise in creating beautifully considered lash lift and brow results tailored to each client's features, preferences and lifestyle.Your services will include:Lash lifts and lash tintingBrow mapping, sculpting and waxingBrow tinting and stainingBrow laminationPersonalised aftercare and product recommendationsBuilding trusted, long-term relationships with clientsMaintaining exceptional standards of presentation, hygiene and client careLash-extension experience is not required for this position.You must, however, already have foundational training and practical ability in lash lifts and professional brow services.Who we are looking forYou may have worked in a salon, freelanced, operated your own small business or developed your skills through an independent industry educator.A Diploma of Beauty Therapy is not required.
However,



you must have completed practical lash lift and brow training through a reputable academy, educator or established artist within the industry.We are looking for someone who:Is reliable, punctual and consistentTakes responsibility for their work and follows through on commitmentsProduces clean, detailed and thoughtfully styled resultsUnderstands that every client requires an individual approachCommunicates warmly and professionallyIs receptive to feedback, education and continued developmentContributes to a calm, respectful and supportive salon environmentValues stable, long-term employmentCan confidently work independently while remaining part of a collaborative teamA portfolio or professional social media page demonstrating your work will be requested.Training and developmentYou do not need to arrive knowing everything.Training will be provided to refine and elevate your existing skills, deepen your understanding of product chemistry and strengthen your ability to manipulate lash lift and brow results for different hair types, growth patterns and desired outcomes.We invest meaningfully in education because we want our artists to understand not only how to perform a service, but how to assess,
