About The Role
An opportunity exists to join an authentic, committed, Christian team, in supporting teachers and students within a Christian Education environment and community.
This temporary part time position (2 days per week) is due to start as soon as possible and runs until the end of term 4.
Scheduled days / hours are Mondays and Fridays ***********pm.
Typical LSO Responsibilities:
Provide individual or small-group support to students with additional learning needs.
Support students with disability, learning difficulties, ASD, ADHD and other diverse learning needs.
Assist students to access and participate in classroom learning.
Work under the direction of classroom/subject teachers.
Assist with implementation of adjustments and individual learning plans.
Support student social, emotional and wellbeing needs.
Assist with personal care or physical support where required, depending on the position.
Work collaboratively with teachers,

Core Responsibilities & Duties
Provide a child protected environment in accordance with the child safe standards;Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and always follow the school's child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools;Ensure students' views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives;Model and promote the vision and values of the school;Attend and participate in staff meetings as required;Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer

You will:
Be a committed Christian, comfortable with sharing your faithBe committed to improving student academic outcomesHave high expectations for what students are capable of, both academically and behaviourallyRelate well to staff, students and parents.
You are able to inspire and manage students, and communicate effectively with parents to support a culture of high expectationsHave a servant heartHave demonstrated excellent organisational skills
