About the Position:
This role is offered on a FIFO basis from Brisbane or Townsville on an 8/6 roster, rotating 12-hour Variable Day and Night Shifts.
Working as part of the onsite tyre service team at MICO Mine, you will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality tyre maintenance services while supporting Kal Tire's Journey to Zero philosophy.
8/6 roster, 12-hour Variable Day and Night Shifts
Paid FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville
Perform all aspects of LV, HV and OTR tyre fitting in a mining environment
Complete tyre inspections, pressure maintenance, tyre rotations and wheel assembly fitment
Remove, repair and refit earthmoving tyres and rims in the workshop and field
Maintain tyre bay facilities, tools and equipment to a high standard
Work closely with site teams to achieve contractual KPIs
Promote safe work practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
Ideally 2+ years' earthmover tyre fitting experience in mining




Current Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing with OTR Tyre Maintenance Competencies
Current HRWL/LF (Forklift) and Driver's Licence
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
