Primary objective
Director Reform Delivery provides program leadership, evidence-based strategic advice and actively engages with schools
to deliver strategic reform programs.
Context statement
Reform Delivery is responsible for leading planning and implementation of high priority agency reforms.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Lead reform program management including scoping, planning, governance and reporting with the support of policy and
project officers.
2. Undertake quality reform program and policy oversight which effectively informs strategic and operational decision-
making.
3. Provide a high level of quality project, performance and policy support for project leads to implement key programs and
projects addressing agency reform.
4. Build internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure reforms align with strategic and operational priorities.
5. Partner across the agency to work as a high performing, cross-functional team to deliver the strategic reform program
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing systems reform requiring input from many multi-disciplinary
internal stakeholders in a demanding service delivery environment.
2. Extensive strategic and operational leadership and management skills, with experience leading diverse teams with a
positive culture of performance.
3. Highly developed written and communication skills with the ability to negotiate confidentially and communicate targeted,
meaningful, and accurate information and analysis to diverse audiences.
4. Proven ability to network, build relationships, collaborate and influence to deliver policy.
5. Demonstrated commitment to adaptable, innovative, and problem-solving approaches to all aspects of the job, including
the ability to work under pressure with changing priorities and stringent deadlines.
Desirable
1. Tertiary qualifications relevant to the position.
