This role is based in Yandina, QLD ****, and offers flexibility for qualified tradespeople looking for ongoing work in the building trades.
As an Experienced Concreter, you will play a crucial role in delivering precision concrete work across our diverse project portfolio.
Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality of our finished products and the satisfaction of our clients.What you'll be doingPreparing concrete work sites, including formwork setup and site assessmentMixing and pouring concrete to specifications, ensuring proper consistency and coverageFinishing concrete surfaces to the required standard, including smoothing,
levelling and texturingOperating concrete tools and equipment safely and effectivelyReading and interpreting plans and specifications to ensure accuracyCollaborating with site supervisors and other tradespeople to meet project deadlinesMaintaining a clean and safe work setting in compliance with workplace health and safety standardsQuality checking work to ensure it meets industry standards and client expectationsWhat we're looking forProven experience as a concreter with a solid track record in residential, commercial or industrial concrete workSound knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing and curing techniquesAbility to read and interpret construction plans and specificationsProficiency with concrete tools and equipment, including power tools and finishing equipmentA current driver's licence for travel to job sitesStrong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and commitment to safe work practicesExcellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanshipFlexibility and reliability, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamRelevant qualifications or certifications in concreting or building trades (preferred)Familiarity with Sunshine Coast building projects and local conditions (advantageous)What we offerWe offer competitive casual rates reflective of your experience and qualifications.
