Our office hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.Reporting to the Financial Controller and working alongside our Finance Team the Accountant is responsible for taking ownership of the role and confidently managing the day-to-day financial operations for multiple entities with separate ledgers.Key Responsibilities:Reconciliation of bank accounts and resolving discrepanciesMaintaining and monitoring the general ledger and financial recordsMonthly reconciling of Balance Sheets and preparation of supporting workpapersPreparation of monthly departmental reports and other adhoc reports as requiredPreparation of monthly and quarterly GST returnsAssisting with manufacturing variance reporting,



monitoring production-related costs and supporting stock control processesFixed Asset acquisitions, disposals and maintenance of registerWork in progress calculations for pool mould assets and recognition of the final product to the fixed asset registerPayroll backup including processing and related administrationOverseeing and backup for the end-to-end Accounts Payable processes including matching supplier invoices to goods receipts and purchase orders, statement reconciling and payments preparationAssisting with compilation of end of year financial statement and income tax return packages and liaising with external tax agents and auditors to meet due datesEnsuring compliance with accounting standards and company policiesCollaborate with internal teams to maintain seamless financial operationsAbout You:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar roleWorking towards CPA qualificationsStrong technical accounting knowledgeExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced skills in Excel and OutlookExperience working with Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP systemsExceptional attention to detail, keenness for meeting deadlines and professionally manage prioritiesStrong, professional interpersonal skills, reliable, can-do attitude and superior communication skills.Ability to work autonomously and within a teamProactive, solutions-focused, and takes ownership of outcomesAustralian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for this position
