Western Districts Netball Association – Graceville QLDWestern Districts Netball Association is a not for profit organisation seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper / Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis.
Based in Graceville, QLD ****, this role is essential to maintaining the high standards of our facilities and grounds.
You will be responsible for ensuring our netball courts, surrounding areas and indoor spaces are clean, well-maintained and welcoming for our members, players and visitors.
This position plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our association and contributing to a positive experience for everyone who uses our facilities.Key responsibilitiesMaintaining netball courts, including keeping free of debris, and ensuring surfaces are safePerforming regular grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, weeding, line marking and general outdoor upkeepCleaning and sanitising indoor facilities, including change rooms, toilets and common areas as requiredWaste Management - Managing rubbish and waste from all areas of the facility, collection of litter around grounds, clean bins and reline after eventsRestocking supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap and cleaning materialsReporting any damage to facilities or equipment to management promptlyPerforming minor repairs and maintenance as requiredAssisting with set-up and pack-down of equipment for events and competitions as requiredMaintaining cleaning equipment and tools in good working orderAssisting with deliveries and stock rotation in canteenFollowing health and safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipmentWhat we're looking forProven experience as a groundskeeper,



cleaner or in a similar maintenance roleStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standardsPhysical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and bendingKnowledge of cleaning products, equipment and techniquesExperience with grounds maintenance equipment and machineryReliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexibly as requiredExcellent communication skills and a professional attitudeStrong Time Management - ability to prioritise work tasks and balance workloadAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCurrent First Aid or CPR certification is desirableWorking with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one) may be requiredWhat we offerWestern Districts Netball Association is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
