Annangrove PreSchool Kindergarten is seeking a passionate and dedicated Inclusion Support Educator to join our early childhood education team.
This is a part-time position based in Annangrove, NSW.
As an Inclusion Support Educator, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all children in our care, with particular focus on supporting children with additional needs or developmental differences.
Your work will directly contribute to ensuring every child has equitable access to quality early childhood experiences and can participate fully in all aspects of our kindergarten program.
You must be avaialbe to work 5 days a week and average 34 hours

Key responsibilities
Provide individualised support to children with additional needs, working closely with educators, families and allied health professionals to implement tailored strategies and adjustments




Collaborate with the kindergarten team to develop and implement inclusive practices that support all children's learning and wellbeing
Assist in the modification of activities, materials and environments to ensure children with additional needs can participate meaningfully alongside their peers
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families and staff, fostering a culture of belonging and acceptance
Monitor and document children's progress, sharing observations and insights with educators and families to inform planning and support
Support the implementation of individual education and support plans, behaviour strategies and transition plans as required
Assist with general classroom duties, including setup, supervision and routine care activities
Maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively within professional boundaries
Participate in professional development and training relevant to inclusion and additional support needs
Communicate effectively with families about their child's progress, experiences and any concerns
What we're looking for
A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification, with experience in an early childhood setting
Experience working with children who have additional needs, developmental delays or disabilities
Knowledge of and commitment to inclusive education practices and child-centred approaches
Strong communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting all children to reach their potential
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow direction from lead educators
Flexibility and adaptability in responding to children's individual needs and changing circumstances
A current Working with Children Check and commitment to maintaining current First Aid and CPR certification
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A commitment to professional conduct, confidentiality and the Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics
Experience with specific disabilities or developmental conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD or speech and language delays
Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and positive guidance approaches
Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse families
Training or qualifications in trauma-informed practice or mental health support for young children
