We are looking for an experienced Estate Administration Lawyer to join our growing Wills & Estates team which is made up of experienced Partners, senior associates, associates, lawyers, graduates and paralegals who practice exclusively in this area of law.
Our lawyers and support staff are empathetic and understanding when helping families and loved ones through the process of administering a deceased estate.

We also provide inhouse business and personal coaching to assist in effective communication with clients, family, and colleagues.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and empathetic estate administration Lawyer (5+ years PAE) to join our Wills & Estates team.The successful applicant will be someone who is understanding, is a good communicator, and develops a rapport with our grieving clients.
Helping families and loved ones left behind to cope with the estate issues is paramount.
You will need to be well organised and familiar with the estate administration processes so that the matters are completed as expeditiously as possible.
You will need good attention to detail, excellent file management,



and the ability to work independently as well as part of a large team.ResponsibilitiesProvide legal advice and assistance to clients in all aspects of estate administration;Manage a file load of varied estate administration matters in all states and territories (mainly QLD, NSW & VIC), including obtaining grants of probate, letters of administration, unusual grants, estate distributions, intestate estates, and advice surrounding duties of an executor.RequirementsAdmission as a lawyer with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in either or both NSW & Qld Succession lawA client focused approach with the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and referrersExcellent drafting skills with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work and serviceAbility to manage multiple files, prioritize workload and meet deadlinesAbility to work between all our officesWillingness to build relationships with referrers and build your personal profileExperience in LEAP software is beneficial, but not a requirementWhat We OfferHighly reputable law firm with an experienced team of lawyers and staffExcellent training program and career development focusLeading legal practice management systems and softwareHealthy work environment and work-life balanceGreat corporate culture with professional/personal development and trainingWell-resourced administrative team, IT, and office facilitiesExperienced senior lawyers for training, mentoring and supportExcellent salary packageThe LocationModern, spacious, well-positioned offices in Coolangatta, Kingscliff, Robina Town Centre, Southport, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.This full-time position is based at our Coolangatta office.
