Deniliquin and Barnawartha Depots.The scheduler position is responsible for:-Working with our fleet to schedule deliveries to customers whilst adhering to our policies and proceduresAssisting our customers with enquiries and delivery requestsAssisting operators with scheduling and operational queriesLiaising with our customers regarding delivery schedules and service requirementsEnsuring productive utilisation of fleet resources while maintaining high levels of customer serviceThe ideal candidate will have:-A strong attention to detailGreat telephone mannerThe ability to communicate with customers and team members at all levelsA good geographical knowledge of VictoriaA sound understanding of Microsoft Office productsPrevious experience in scheduling a fleet of vehicles doing multiple deliveries each dayExperience in the following areas will be favourably considered:-An understanding of Safe Work Method StatementsAn understanding of Standard Fatigue ManagementExperience within transport, logistics, fuel distributuion, or related industriesTraining and ongoing support will be provided to the successful candidate.
