CVH is an independent, busy and thriving animal hospital on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
We have a large and loyal client base and see a variety of interesting cases, with many advanced surgeries kept in house.
We are a welcoming and supportive team of 6 vets and 12 nurses + support staff and are looking for a talented, calm, and compassionate nurse to join our team.
Duties will include all aspects of veterinary nursing –
organising and assisting on procedures;
performing anaesthesia, placement of IV catheters, phlebotomy, performing radiographs, intensive care and monitoring, pre- and post-operative patient care;
following treatment plans, administering medications;
client communication – providing advice and answering questions.
Successful applicants will -




have minimum 2 years on the job experience in veterinary nursing with appropriate qualifications (Certificate IV in Veterinary nursing or equivalent);
display a commitment to a high level of patient care and excellent customer service;
have the ability to problem solve, prioritise and work unsupervised when necessary;
be able to supervise and train junior nursing staff.
