Calvary Christian College Springwood and Carbrook – Carbrook QLDOur College is seeking expressions of interest for a qualified and experienced peripatetic instrumental music tutor to provide one on one (paid by parents directly to the instructor) and group lessons (paid by the College) to students.
It is expected that tutors will run their private lessons with students as an independent business.
Conducting of Percussion Ensembles is also a requirement of this position.About youYou are passionate about engaging in an authentic Christian community.You have a track record of developing high performing young musicians.You are an active listener who engages with students, staff and parents with a growth mindset and in a respectful manner.You have experience training students in group (small and large) settings.You have the skill and confidence to manage student behaviour.You are skilled at differentiating your training to meet the needs of students.You are an experienced business person who is capable of ensuring that your business provides a high quality service to the College.
You will be required to arrange lessons (including payment) directly with parents as well as have your own ABN,
