About the Role
As the Reliability Engineer – Fixed, you'll be responsible for improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime and optimising maintenance strategies across the underground mobile fleet.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing reliability improvement strategiesAnalysing equipment performance, reliability trends and maintenance KPIsLeading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and defect elimination initiativesReviewing preventative maintenance strategies and recommending improvementsSupporting lifecycle management and asset performance optimisationWorking closely with Maintenance Planners, Supervisors and Operations teamsProviding technical recommendations to improve fleet availability and reliabilityMaintaining asset data and reporting through SAP
Plant & Equipment
You'll provide reliability support across a range of fixed plant assets, including:
Surface crushing plantConveying systemsUnderground fixed processing equipmentOre handling infrastructurePumps, crushers,



conveyors and ancillary processing equipmentFixed plant associated with underground hard rock mining operations
About You
To be successful, you'll bring:
Demonstrated experience as a Reliability Engineer within mining or heavy industryExperience supporting heavy mobile mining equipmentUnderground hard rock mining experience (highly regarded)Strong understanding of reliability methodologies, including RCA and defect eliminationExperience with SAP or similar CMMSExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesRelevant Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
