About the Role
Elite Resource Australia is seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join the ongoing Operations and Maintenance team at Wellington Solar Farm.
This position is initially offered for a three-month engagement, with the possibility of extending for a further three months for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will support the site's operational maintenance program and undertake a range of HV and electrical maintenance activities across the solar farm and associated HV infrastructure.
Two days of site-specific training will be provided before commencing work.
Key Responsibilities
Perform High Voltage switching and isolation activitiesConduct routine site operations and maintenanceCarry out planned and reactive maintenance worksSupport maintenance activities across substations, MV panels, and MCR facilitiesPerform HV testing, commissioning, and fault-finding activitiesConduct routine inspections of switchboards, inverters, fuse arrays, and associated HV equipmentAssist with fault response,



troubleshooting, and SCADA-related reportingMaintain compliance with site safety systems, permits, and operational proceduresWork collaboratively with site management and maintenance personnelWork day and night shifts as required
Requirements
Current NSW Electrical LicenceHV Switching Certification / AuthorisationDemonstrated experience performing HV switching and maintenance activitiesExperience working within substations, MV switchgear, and MCR environmentsCurrent Construction White CardCurrent LVR/CPR CertificationPrevious Solar Farm or Renewable Energy experience highly regardedValid Driver's Licence and reliable transport (DIDO role)Ability to work both day and night shiftsStrong commitment to safety and procedural compliance
