We are looking for an energetic, dynamic and experienced qualified accountant with strong technical experience across industry software to join our finance team based in Brisbane.
The next phase of the group's growth and development includes significant upgrades to ERP and management reporting systems and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving this change and development.

Overview of key tasks and responsibilities
ERP upgrade and implementation
Manage the implementation of the current system upgrades.
Accounting system management
Oversee the daily accounting system workflow
Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Oversee accounting for stock and work in progress control.
Implement improvements to bring efficiencies
Monthly System Management and Reporting




Undertaking system month-end procedures
Assist the team with reconciling the trial balance across all key general ledger accounts, including payroll, inventory and WIP, debtors, creditors, fixed assets and payroll-related accounts.
Contribute to the preparation of the development of supporting schedules for management reporting.
Contribute to the preparation of the monthly reporting pack for review by the CFO
Play an active role in the completion of end-of-year processes including stocktake, prepayments & accruals, tax entries, draft financial statements and year-end file for auditors.
Key skills and experience
Recognised Accounting Degree or minimum of 5 years in financial management experience
Technically proficient in computer-based accounting and job costing systems
Ideally experienced in a manufacturing / heavy industry area with exposure to ERP and costing processes for a manufacturing business.
Exceptional time management, personnel management and organisational skills
Sound knowledge of:
Accounting and financial management systems
Standard business tax accounting and business administration principles
Positive verbal communication skills, ability to write clearly and concisely
High level of attention to detail
