Job Title - ITCM Commercial Contracting Support OfficerJob ID - *******Security Clearance: NV1 ClearanceLength of Contract: 10 monthsThe role closes on 4/08/2026Location: ACTEssential job criteria:Support commercial contracting manager to provide strategic commercial advice, to the project.Assist in preparing, reviewing and managing scopes of work.Develop contractual documentation policy and practices, keeping to timeframes ensuring project milestones can be met.Assist with procurement planning, tendering and contract formation, contract management, and drafting correspondence ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and proceduresAssist with timely and accurate advice and services for procurement policy, technical, commercial, legal, financial investigation and other requirements to support contract management outcomesApplication of legislative and policy compliance obligations related to procurement and contract managementThe successful applicant will have the following key attributes:Robust business acumen and sound commercial judgementA thorough understanding of different procurement methods and evaluation protocolsDemonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skillsSFIA Skills Sought:The overall management and control of the operation of formal contracts for supply of products and services.ITCM Level 3:Sources and collects contract performance data (such as pricing and supply chain costs), and monitors performance against KPIs.




Identifies and reports under-performance and develops opportunities for improvement.
Monitors compliance with Terms and Conditions and take appropriate steps to address non-compliance.
Pro-actively manages risk and reward mechanisms in the contract.
Monitors progress against business objectives specified in the business case.
Identifies where change is required, and plans for variations.
In consultation with stakeholders, ensures that change management protocols are implemented.
Sources and collects contract performance data (such as pricing and supply chain costs), and monitors performance against KPIs.
