Zenviron are seeking a Civil Draftsperson to join our Engineering team in Newcastle and support the delivery of high‐quality civil design documentation across major infrastructure projects.Working closely with civil engineers and the wider project team, you will produce accurate, coordinated civil drawings and models suitable for construction.
This role is well suited to a detail‐focused draftsperson with strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills and an interest in renewable energy infrastructure.This role is well suited to a detail‐oriented draftsperson who enjoys working in a collaborative engineering setting and contributing to large‐scale infrastructure projects.Key responsibilities will include:Prepare drawings for project infrastructure including earthworks, benches, hardstands, and laydown areas; internal access tracks, public road upgrades, and pavements; drainage and erosion & sediment control layoutsDevelop models and drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3DIncorporate engineering mark‐ups, design changes, and redlinesEnsure drawings comply with Australian Standards, client and project requirementsMaintain drawing registers, revision control, and support as‐built documentationCoordinate with engineers, consultants, and project teams as requiredFollow Zenviron drafting standards, procedures,



and WHS requirementsWhat we are looking for:Qualification in Civil Drafting or Engineering DraftingProven experience in civil drafting, preferably within infrastructure or heavy civil projectsStrong proficiency in AutoCAD, with Civil 3D experience highly regardedGood attention to detail, organised, and able to meet project deadlinesWillingness to learn, take direction, and develop technical capabilityAble to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering teamTo be successful in this role we are seeking someone who is comfortable operating in a structured, delivery‐focused engineering environment—taking ownership of their work, working to established standards, and reliably meeting safety, quality, and documentation requirements.
