About the Role Weighbridge operators are responsible for implementing Rock & Dirt's weighbridge procedures on-site, helping to ensure that time, cost, quality, and safety objectives are consistently met.
What You'll Be Doing
Data entry into Service Pro
Answering phone calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate department
General day-to-day office tasks, including scanning and filing documents
Managing incoming and outgoing mail/emails
Sending dockets and weighbridge reports
Handling sales enquiries, general sales, and deliveries
Cleaning the weighbridge and surrounding areas, upholding our clean office policy
Checking all incoming loads are charged correctly
Checking and rejecting customer loads that don't meet Rock & Dirt standards
Communicating with the on-site team to ensure procedures are followed




What We're Looking For
Customer service experience
Good, clear phone manner
Computer skills - proficiency in Office suite essential
Ability to learn current computer programs
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Cash handling and EFTPOS experience
Knowledge of products and materials
Weighbridge experience or familiarity with truck types is highly regarded
Understanding of and adherence to EPA regulations
High ethical standards and commitment to a strong workplace culture
Resilience and the ability to lead by personal example
Trustworthy and reliable, with a strong sense of integrity
