Field Day Disability Support – Chatswood NSWDisability Support Worker – Sydney North ShoreHornsby, Forestville, Chatswood, Lindfield and Lane CoveRegular casual work | Ongoing weekly shiftsField Day Disability Support is looking for warm, reliable and capable support workers to join our team across Sydney's North Shore.We currently have participants requiring support in:HornsbyForestvilleChatswoodLindfieldLane Cove and surrounding suburbsThese roles involve supporting neurodiverse children, teenagers and young adults to build confidence, independence and everyday skills through consistent, relationship-based support.This is not simply "sit and supervise" work.
We are looking for people who can build genuine rapport, use initiative and make everyday routines, activities and capacity-building feel natural and engaging.About the rolesEvery participant is different, but support may include:Building rapport through shared interests and age-appropriate activitiesAfter-school and evening supportMorning routine and school preparationCommunity access and recreational activitiesPublic transport trainingMeal preparation and daily living skillsSupporting household routinesPersonal care prompting or assistanceBuilding confidence and independenceSupporting emotional regulation and transitionsReinforcing strategies recommended by parents, therapists or behaviour-support practitionersProviding support on weekendsTransporting participants to activities or appointmentsThe focus is on helping participants take an active role in their routines and goals—not simply completing tasks for them.Hours and availabilityWe have a range of regular weekly shifts available across the North Shore, including:Before-school morningsAfter-school afternoonsEarly eveningsSaturdays and SundaysSchool holiday supportMost shifts are approximately two to five hours.Applicants do not need to be available for every shift.
