Warehouse Purchasing/Inventory AssistantImperial Kitchens is seeking to appoint an experienced full time Purchasing and Inventory Assistant to join our Warehouse team.
Full time hours, flexibility and Immediate start!
This position will involve receipting of goods, inventory maintenance, following up backorders, forklift operations, picking orders with distribution to the factory as required and assisting in the preparation of purchase orders to maintain inventory at budgeted levels.The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that orders and requests are processed in a timely manner to facilitate the smooth operation of the factory.This role will include the follow duties;Daily purchasing requirements and following up all backordersReceipting of incoming stock into inventory systemPicking of hardware and materials for scheduled jobsUndertake quality checks of all incoming and outgoing goods,



receipt in and allocateCarrying out stock takes and monthly reconciliationsEngage directly with suppliers in relation to product availability and delivery schedulesMaintain the security of the stores areas.Comply with OHS and company policies.Requirements to be considered for the role;Prior purchasing or Storeperson experienceStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsForklift licence not required but beneficialComputer/Administration skills relevant to the roleAbility to work unsupervised and efficientlyGood written and verbal communication skillsGreat work ethic, reliability and punctualityGood understanding of stock controlHigh level communication and customer serviceIn return, you will be offered;Permanent Full-time position in our warehouseCompetitive salary with Immediate start!
