Service Manager | Operations, Leadership & Technical Strateg

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a proven, forward-thinking Service Manager to take full operational ownership of a high-performing Service Department.

Key Responsibilities
Departmental Leadership: Lead, mentor, and foster a safety-first, high-performance culture across field technicians, coordinators, subcontractors, and admin teams.
Service Delivery & Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations across reactive service, preventative maintenance, warranty repairs, and system upgrades to meet SLAs and KPIs.
Scheduling & Resource Planning: Drive technician utilization, optimize workload balance, and manage after-hours coverage and site allocations.
Quotations & Estimating: Scope works, prepare competitive quotations, conduct site assessments, and support key tender submissions.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key escalation point, build strong client relationships,
and identify lifecycle upgrade opportunities.
P&L; & Administration: Ensure swift, accurate job invoicing, oversee stock/asset management, and drive cost-effective, profitable service outcomes.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to Australian Standards, WHS compliance, SWMS documentation, and trade licensing.
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience as a Service Manager, Operations Manager, or Senior Service Coordinator within technical, mechanical, or industrial service sectors.
Robust leadership capability with a background in managing field-based technicians and office personnel.
Solid commercial acumen with experience in job costing, estimating, scope preparation, and operational scheduling systems (CRM/ERP).
Exceptional communication skills with a track record of building trusted relationships with corporate clients, contractors, and internal teams.
A deep commitment to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and high-quality compliance standards.
