This role will commence at the beginning of the **** school year.
This is a permanent, full-time position.

Located in the Hills District in Sydney's northwest, the College has modern facilities, is very well resourced and can be easily accessed by car or the Metro Northwest rail.Leadership ResponsibilitiesLead and support faculty team members to practice RHAC's pedagogical approach.Ensure team practice is in alignment with the vision and values of the College.Encourage qualified and supportive relationships within the team.Develop faculty teaching and assessment programs to enhance student outcomes.Contribute to the Senior School Academic Leadership team.Model best practice in professional behaviour and conduct.Meet compliance requirements regarding documentation and professional standards.Classroom TeachingConstruct teaching programs, based on applicable NESA syllabi,



that will enable you to:Approach teaching practice according to RHAC's 5 Teaching and Learning principles.Develop and implement engaging lessons that maximise learning for all students.Differentiate to meet identified student needs.Professional OpportunitiesThe College offers:Development and support through the Middle Leaders program, including the annual RHAC Middle Leaders conference.ASC Professional Learning days and network affiliation.Personalised advice and support for middle leaders by executive staff.The Great Teaching Toolkit to develop professional practice.Other ResponsibilitiesInvolvement in College activities and events including:Contributing to the student wellbeing program, extra-curricular activities and camps.Attending chapel, assemblies and other College activities.Undertaking rostered playground or supervision duties.Attending College events, including parent teacher meetings.The ContractAll teachers at RHAC are employed under the Independent Schools (Teachers) Cooperative Multi Enterprise Agreement **** (CMEA).
The CMEA outlines teacher's salaries and their employment rights and responsibilities.Child SafetyThe College actively promotes the safety and wellbeing of all students and requires all prospective staff to be suitable and committed to protecting students from harm in the school environment.
The College implements the Child Safe Standards developed by the Office of the Children's Guardian.
