You'll play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of Council's GIS and spatial analysis services, with a focus on supporting our Strategic Planning team.What your day will look like:Conducting GIS research and analysisDeveloping, implementing and maintaining GIS dataIdentifying business improvement opportunities and developing proposalsSupporting internal clients on strategic, technical and procedural issuesUndertaking audits and ensuring relevant documentation is accurateWhat you'll need for success:Significant experience in a similar role across analysis, problem resolution and GIS process designA high level of spatial software skills with the ability to pick up new systems with easeStrong communication and interpersonal skills, able to relate to people with varying levels of knowledgeWhat's nice to have:Experience in local governmentWe understand that not all candidates will meet every selection criterion.
