To build meaningful relationships and make a difference in the lives of others.An integral part of our team at The Wesley Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Manager – Theatres, you'll be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered to make the everyday easier for the people we care so passionately about.Your part in The Wesley Hospital teamThe Wesley Hospital is an Australian leader in robotic surgery, and we are proud to be accredited as Australia's first Centre of Excellence in Robotic Surgery (COERS) including Bariatric, Orthopaedic and Cardiac surgeries.The Wesley Hospital is seeking to appoint a Clinical Nurse Manager to oversee the running of their surgical theatre complex.Leading a large, multi-disciplinary team, you will oversee the ongoing delivery and development of procedural services across our 19 Theatres – applying your operational knowledge, leadership capability and communication skills to effectively lead your team to success.You'll collaborate effectively with other healthcare leaders in the hospital, working together to deliver optimal patient outcomes through exceptional clinical care.
A diverse role, you will:Achieve optimal patient outcomes and objectives through effective leadership and directionLead your people including the theatres leadership team through identifying opportunities for development, learning, and improvement.Build a cooperative working environment between members of a multi-disciplinary team, applying your skills to build a high functioning and outcome focused unitMaintain qualified standards of practice through the evaluation of services and through key strategiesEnsure optimal procurement and allocation of resources, including recruitment and budgeting to achieve service objectivesWhat makes a difference for us?
As an advanced Clinician,



you will demonstrate exceptional skills in Perioperative nursing, a passion for people leadership, and strong patient advocacy and customer focus.
You'll present with:5 or more years clinical experience within a perioperative environmentExperience leading a high functioning multidisciplinary teamAbility to lead a team to deliver contemporary, evidence based patient careExpertise and skills in managing a cost centre budget and people managementAdvocacy and leading contribution towards quality initiatives and improvementsBachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent nursing qualification / AHPRA RegistrationPost Graduate Qualification in Clinical SpecialityWhat makes a difference for you?
